Les and Nancy attended the Sunday remembrance service in Carlisle City Centre & went to coco mill for a spot of lunch which they both enjoyed.
As we all know, the poppy is an enduring symbol of the sacrifices our Armed Forces have made for over 100 years. It is a global symbol which represents and affects more people than initially assumed.
The residents that wanted to participate in making poppy’s did and we held a 2 minutes silence The poppy’s we all made decorated the home for Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday.
