Our home promotes person-centred care that places all our residents at the centre of their care plan. This is to maintain their dignity and independence during their stay. We work with residents, their loved ones and healthcare professionals to develop a support plan that suits them. This integrated approach allows our residents to continue making decisions about their life and how they wish to be supported at Applegarth.
Applegarth has 53 en-suite bedrooms with French windows leading to a balcony and a view of our gardens. We are a large home with seven communal lounges, dining room and a garden which provides space for our residents to socialise, watch tv or relax. We understand the importance of mealtimes for health and socialising so we have an on-site chef to provide meals that are catered to your diet and taste. There are plenty of facilities and activities that take place at Applegarth which include exercise sessions, a gardening club and day trips out. We recognise that everyone has different needs and interests so activities are tailored to individual preferences so you can continue to enjoy the things you love.
We ensure that all our staff are professional, well trained and dedicated to supporting our residents. They are available 24 hours a day for whatever care and support our residents need. We prioritise staff training to ensure that residents always receive high quality care and support.
